I recently decided to start hiking for a healthier lifestyle and to spend more time in nature and not before a computer.

For my first hike I decided to walk around the nature reserve Häftli. Being almost entirely flat and only a bit more than 10 km, it’s easy enough for a beginner. On top of it, it is easily accessible by public transport (train station Büren an der Aare), and offers beautiful scenery.

I found the route on wanderungen.ch and decided to give it a try.

On the linked website you can buy the GPX track for a small fee, but due to the simplicity of the route the screenshot was enough to work with.

I recorded the route myself and figured why not offering the GPX track as a download, so you don’t have to pay on the other site.
